Mystic Mountains Ski Hire caters to visitors to Lake Mountain. We hire quality cross-country skis (classic and skate) for adults and children as well as toboggans, waterproof clothing and après-ski boots to keep your feet warm and dry. Cross-country skiers destined for other resorts are welcome to hire their gear with us.Marysville

We have the best quality gear, at least the equal of anywhere. All 10,000 waterproof and breathable. We have the most hygienic clothing, washed after every hire, even if it looks clean.
We have the best prices of anywhere - probably the best prices in Australia.
The staff are all long-term locals who will provide friendly and excellent service. The person who greets you as you walk in the door is the same person that will kit you and your family out and do all the paperwork.
Parking is right at the front door in our huge car park - no wandering around looking for a car park and then having to carry all your gear back to the car worrying if your kids will get hit on the road.
And yes, we even hire gloves. Washed and sterilised after every hire. And if you wish to purchase your own gloves, of course we sell them - from entry level to top quality goretex gloves.

COVID-19 and Your Safety
Regular visitors will notice that we've made some changes in the way you hire your gear from us. IF YOU OR YOUR FAMILY HAVE COLD OR FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS, PLEASE DO NOT COME. There will be one entry door into the shop and a different exit door. A maximum of 4 groups/families will be allowed in the shop at one time. Everyone else must queue outside. Upon entering the shop, all members of your group must sanitise their hands.
There will be no gloves for hire this year. If you don't have gloves, you may buy them from us but you will need to sanitise your hands again before and after trying them on.
Please let us know before we select any jackets or children's suits whether you have a colour preference. We will discourage changing colours to suit personal taste. The reason for this is that every item that is tried on and not taken will need to be disinfected before it can be hired to another person. The same applies to boots.
The return process will differ too. Weather permitting, returns will take place outside the entrance to the shop to avoid congestion, and for the safety of staff. Again, all items will be disinfected before and after laundering.
Each night, the entire shop will be disinfected. During the day, surfaces, seating, counters and door handles will be disinfected regularly. To aid us in this, please keep your children close to you to ensure that they are not touching things unnecessarily.
We ask for your understanding. These measures are designed for your safety and for the safety of staff.
To make the hire out process faster and safer for all, we strongly urge you to book your gear online before 4pm the day prior.
And don't forget to book your car onto the mountain at least the day prior.

Our Location
We are situated just 25 minutes past Healesville on the left side of the Maroondah Highway, in the heart of the Mystic Mountains area in Narbethong. We are just 1 km before the turn off from the Maroondah Highway to Lake Mountain. Look out for the public phone box and the big fire danger rating board which are outside the shop. We're directly opposite the Narbethong CFA station. Our huge carpark will make your stop at Mystic Mountains quick and easy.
Don't be distracted by a blow-up snowman you may see on the way. If you want the best variety, the best quality, the best prices and the best service you'll be after the place that doesn't need the gimmicks.sville
We open at 7 am on weekends and public holidays, and at 7.30am on weekdays for those who wish to make an early start. We close at 6:00 pm at night.
